Baoshan to host two UIM world championships during the National Day holiday

Two top-tier Union Internationale Motonautique world championships will be staged in Shanghai's Baoshan district during the October National Day holiday. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The two races serve as the anchor events of the 2026 Baoshan National Day carnival, which runs from Sept 15 to Oct 15. Nearly 160 activities spanning water sports, music, nightlife, shopping and rural tourism will be held as part of the month-long program.
