The Wuxi Symphony Orchestra premiered its original composition Feitian (Flying Apsaras) at Wuxi Symphony Hall on Sept 10, captivating a packed audience with its powerful performance. Among the audience were international friends who were deeply immersed in the music.
As the first large-scale symphonic suite inspired by China's space program in the 21st century, it comprises eight movements, giving musical expression to China's enduring dream of reaching for the skies.
