Automakers' overseas practices guided
China has issued a guideline to regulate Chinese automakers' competitive practices and strengthen corporate compliance overseas, aiming to promote the sound and orderly global expansion of the country's auto industry. The guideline provides general guidance for Chinese automotive companies engaged in international operations, with a focus on practices including overseas marketing, according to a circular released by the Ministry of Commerce and two other government departments.
Yuan strengthens against greenback
The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, strengthened 19 pips to 6.7809 against the US dollar on Tuesday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.
