Meitu sees robust revenue growth in H1
Chinese selfie-enhancing internet company Meitu said its revenue in the first half had increased by 22.1 percent year-on-year to 2.21 billion yuan ($326 million). During this period, Meitu recorded an adjusted net profit attributable to the parent company of 650 million yuan, up 39.5 percent year-on-year. The company said the core photo, video and design products business segment saw revenue reach 1.77 billion yuan in the first half of the year, marking a year-on-year increase of 30.9 percent and accounting for 80 percent of total revenue.
200 key standards made for AI sector
China has so far formulated nearly 200 key standards for artificial intelligence to steer the sector toward sound and orderly development. AI has now been largely integrated across the entire chain in China, including research and development, design, production, manufacturing, quality inspection, as well as operations and maintenance, said the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
