Auto show with strong Chinese brand presence kicks off in Nepal

KATHMANDU -- An auto show featuring over 50 automobile brands from various countries kicked off in Nepal's capital Kathmandu on Tuesday, showcasing new vehicles and mobility technologies to visitors.
Organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), the six-day NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 features 29 four-wheeler and 18 two-wheeler brands, along with products and services from other segments of the mobility industry.
Inaugurating the event, NAIMA Chairperson Ritu Singh Vaidya said the expo aims to provide a platform for automobile companies, technology providers, consumers and other stakeholders to exchange ideas and explore developments in the mobility sector.
