"This is not just an auto show but a platform where the entire mobility ecosystem comes together," said Vaidya.
Over two dozen brands in the exhibition are Chinese, NAIMA Executive Director Raj Kumar Dulal said, adding that new models by Chery, Wuling, Dongfeng and Hongqi, among others, are on display.
"I checked different brands. I found Chinese brands more attractive both in terms of their design and price range compared to others," Sanjay Thapa, a visitor at the auto show, told Xinhua.
In addition to vehicle displays, the event includes various learning sessions and discussions on automobile technology, mobility trends and other issues concerning the industry.
