The 1,000th electric propulsion unit for the land aircraft carrier from low-altitude manufacturer Aridge rolled off the production line on Monday at the company's mass production facility in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

The rollout signifies that the company has set a global record for the largest-scale production of 800V electric propulsion units in the eVTOL industry.

The electric propulsion unit includes an electric motor and propeller that convert electrical energy into the lift and thrust needed for flight. Its performance directly impacts whether the aircraft can fly safely, stably, and efficiently, according to the company.

The production line is equipped with advanced intelligent equipment, including 7-axis robots and automated guided vehicles, or AGVs, achieving an automation rate of over 60 percent.

The end-of-line testing line has also reached an automation rate of 100 percent, effectively helping enhance production efficiency and product consistency, according to the company.

"We have deeply integrated the large-scale intelligent manufacturing capabilities from the automotive sector with aviation-grade quality standards, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent mass production of the land aircraft carrier," said Zhao Deli, founder of Aridge.
