The 2026 World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum officially opened on Wednesday in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province. Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, academics and representatives of international organizations, the event aims to explore how digital and intelligent technologies can unlock new opportunities for global cooperation.
Under the theme "Pooling Intelligence on the Silk Road, Embarking on a Digital Future - Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace", participants will exchange ideas and shape discussions on Silk Road e-commerce cooperation, AI agents, cultural heritage, digital health and more in the next two days.
