Galaxy Macau and Ant Bank (Macao) opened a financial services station at the Galaxy Macau integrated resort on Friday, linking banking, payments and loyalty rewards as the city seeks to deepen the integration of tourism, technology and modern finance.

Located in the resort's Taste of Asia area, the station is equipped with Ant Bank (Macao)'s self-service platform offering cash deposits, cash withdrawals and mCard top-ups. It also provides financial consultations, interactive displays explaining fintech applications and on-site account opening services, the companies said.

The station will be integrated with a revamped Galaxy membership program that is due to be launched. The companies described the facility as the first of its kind jointly established by a Macao integrated resort and Ant Bank (Macao).

The station combines Galaxy Macau's visitor and merchant network with Ant Bank's digital banking technology.

The project comes as the government of Macao Special Administrative Region presses ahead with its "1+4" economic diversification strategy, which combines the city's core integrated tourism and leisure sector with four priority industry clusters, including modern financial services and high technology.

Macao's 2026 Policy Address named economic diversification as a major task and called for deeper "Tourism+" integration, continued development of modern finance and faster growth of the digital economy. The government also plans to enhance the city's faster payment system and advance development of a digital Macao pataca.
