As construction advances at the 517-meter Six Senses Residence, a landmark supertall residential tower undertaken by CSCEC Steel, the project team has rolled out a full-spectrum safety governance system to secure its multinational workforce and guarantee high-standard delivery.

Routine risk control forms the core of site safety. Senior management of CSCEC Steel conduct regular on-site inspections targeting high-risk operations including lifting, hot work and working at height, with closed-loop rectification launched for all hidden hazards spotted on site.

Systematic safety education runs through daily operations. Weekly HSE training, pre-shift risk briefings, case study sessions and regulatory workshops are held to upgrade hazard identification capabilities of all staff. Multilingual safety signage and multichannel safety campaigns in Chinese, English and Arabic remove language barriers for frontline workers.

The team regularly organizes fire response drills, evacuation exercises and professional first-aid training to sharpen on-site emergency response capacity. Beyond compliance, the project fosters a people-centric safety culture: monthly awards honor outstanding safe teams, while summer heat relief welfare and family-focused safety activities safeguard employees' wellbeing.

Moving forward, the project will embed rigorous safety protocols into every construction phase, lift overall risk prevention capacity, and advance sustainable overseas operation of CSCEC Steel, the company said.
