Mushahid Hussain Sayed, former chairman of Pakistan's Senate Defense Committee, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the 2026 World Peace Forum.
He noted that the so-called "rules-based order" promoted by the West is marked by double standards, adding that China represents a beacon of hope in today's turbulent world.
He also said that the conflicts in the Middle East and South Asia have demonstrated that the size of a country does not determine its strength, might does not make right, and aggression does not pay.
