Decoupling 'not a serious option': former European Council chief

The world is so interconnected that decoupling is not a serious option, Charles Michel, former president of the European Council and former prime minister of Belgium, told China Daily in an exclusive interview on Wednesday. He also pointed out that the EU has its own interests but does not seek protectionism.
