Japanese firms' participation shows desire for better ties
The participation in the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo by a number of Japanese enterprises and business communities has reflected their urgent need to improve China-Japan relations and carry out cooperation, Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Friday.
China hopes that the Japanese government will listen to their voices, face up to the root causes of the problems in ties, reflect on and correct its mistakes, Guo told a daily news conference.
He urged Japanese policymakers to show sincerity in improving their relationship with China through practical actions, so as to create necessary conditions for normal exchanges between the two countries.
Guo also expressed hope that the Japanese business community will help promote the forming of a correct view of history in Japan and improve bilateral ties.
