ICC judges sue Trump over sanctions
Three International Criminal Court judges sanctioned by the United States filed a lawsuit Wednesday against President Donald Trump and other senior US officials, arguing the measures against them are unlawful. The judges alleged the sanctions were aimed at "exerting extrajudicial pressure" and punishing them for prior judicial decisions. The sanctions, which include travel bans and asset freezes, were imposed amid ICC investigations involving key US ally Israel. The 66-page lawsuit seeks to have the measures lifted.

Spy chief warns of rising terror threats
The head of Australia's intelligence agency Mike Burgess said on Wednesday that the country faces an "unprecedented" number of threats. Burgess said that Australia's national terrorism threat level remains at probable, but warned that acts of politically motivated violence are becoming more likely than the rating suggests. The speech was Burgess's first annual threat assessment since 15 people were killed in a terror attack that targeted a Jewish event at Sydney's Bondi Beach in December.

Hantavirus outbreak nears official end
The World Health Organization said Wednesday that the hantavirus outbreak linked to the MV Hondius cruise ship should formally end on July 2 if no further cases are reported. The outbreak resulted in 12 confirmed and one probable case, including three deaths. WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said more than 650 contacts in 33 countries and territories had been followed up on. The agency will continue studying the virus and sharing samples to support future diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines.
