New animation space opens in Shanghai

According to Wang Jun, chairperson of the Shanghai Film Group (SFG), the Shanghai Animation Space will focus on original content creation, digital technology, IP operations and talent development, aiming to build a full-cycle animation industry ecosystem.
At Thursday's launch ceremony, SAFS and JD Technology announced a strategic partnership to co-develop interactive, IP-driven smart hardware powered by JD's JoyAI platform.
Also unveiled at the launch was the 16K Ultra-HD Lab, designed by Shanghai Film Group, BOE Technology Group and Jing'an Capital to advance ultra-high-definition imaging and next-generation content production.
