Government-enterprise joint inspection safeguards people’s livelihood power supply
To fully consolidate the safe electricity consumption responsibilities of key users, eliminate power safety hazards in medical institutions, and secure reliable power supply for local residents, State Grid Longxi County Power Supply Company launched a special power safety inspection and service campaign at Longxi County First People's Hospital on May 13.
The campaign was jointly carried out with the county Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the county Emergency Management Bureau, prioritizing people's livelihood security and strengthening power safety foundations for medical institutions through precise government-enterprise coordination.
Guided by the principles of full coverage, hidden danger elimination and long-term safety guarantee, the three-party inspection team formulated a targeted inspection plan tailored to the electricity consumption characteristics of medical institutions and conducted a thorough power safety check.
Inspectors conducted detailed examinations on the hospital's core power facilities, including the 10 kV distribution room, high and low-voltage distribution cabinets, standby generator sets, emergency UPS power supplies, power supply lines and grounding protection devices. Adopting infrared temperature measurement, equipment condition monitoring and data verification, the team inspected equipment operating status, line insulation and equipment aging conditions, and accurately identified potential hazards such as equipment overload, line deterioration, irregular wiring and incomplete protective measures.
In addition, the team verified the hospital's power safety management systems, regular equipment inspection records, hazard rectification files and electricians' operation qualifications. It also examined fire-fighting power supporting facilities and emergency power switching mechanisms, and fully assessed the completeness and operability of the hospital's power failure emergency response plan. The inspection ensures rapid emergency power switching and effective emergency procedures during sudden outages, guaranteeing uninterrupted power supply for key hospital sectors including emergency treatment and intensive care units.
