Fu Mingxia, who is in charge of scientific surveillance at the Yingjing section of the park, said during an interview on Wednesday that the system now covers 90 percent of the park's designated area in the county.

It is powered by data from over 480 real-time transmission infrared cameras, 200 traditional surveillance cameras, and hydrologic and meteorological instruments that track temperature, humidity, wind speed, rainfall and other environmental variables.
