Yunnan enhances highway connectivity
Southwest China's Yunnan province advanced its regional highway connectivity as China Railway Construction Corp's 24th bureau completed the first pier column casting of Ramp A Bridge at the Chahe interchange of the Maliuwan-Yiliang Expressway. The achievement marks a crucial milestone for the project's bridge substructure construction. The interchange aims to connect the expressway with the G85 Yinchuan-Kunming Expressway. Slated to open in 2027, the expressway will optimize the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou highway network and boost local economic development.
Market-oriented operations for railway
Chinese railway operators are letting staff members bolster awareness of market-oriented operations in speeding up railway modernization. China Railway Taiyuan Group organized 56 young and middle-aged managerial employees to visit Jiaxing in Zhejiang province, in a bid to learn history through historical relics. At present, taking the lead in realizing the modernization of railways is a heavy task for railway workers, and on-site education can contribute to deepening their awareness of building "six modernization systems" and "six market-oriented operation centers" within the group.
