Efforts emphasized to solidify stable development

Premier Li Qiang chaired a State Council executive meeting on Friday to study the guiding principles of the important speech by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, at the Central Economic Work Conference, and made arrangements for the implementation of the decisions and deployment adopted at the conference.

The departments under the State Council, China's Cabinet, are urged to strengthen their responsibilities, step up formulating the concrete action plans, enhance cross-departmental coordination and cooperation, and form collaborative forces to boost development, the meeting said.

The meeting called for proactive efforts to solidify and expand the momentum of stable economic growth to ensure the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) gets off to a good start.
