Revisiting Edgar Snow's journey in today's China

Nearly a century after American journalist Edgar Snow first reported from Yan'an, the cradle of China's revolution, a new generation of journalists is following in his footsteps.

In this video, China Daily reporter Yan An meets two American reporters — Dylan Walker and Erik Nilsson — who have lived in China for many years. Frustrated by some Western media's "reductive" and "sensationalist" coverage, they are determined to show a more complete picture of the country.
