China opposes inclusion of Chinese companies on Japan's export control list

China strongly objects to Japan placing Chinese entities on its export control list and urges Japan to immediately cease the erroneous practice, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce said on Monday.
Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry updated its export control end user list on Monday, adding multiple Chinese companies while removing two others.
Responding to a media inquiry, a spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce said Japan's unjustified listing of Chinese companies without factual basis harms the interests of enterprises from both countries, and that China firmly opposes the action.
China urges Japan to immediately cease wrongfully listing Chinese companies.
The spokesperson added that the removal of two Chinese companies from Japan's list aligns with the common interests of both countries and is welcomed by China. China is willing to strengthen communication with Japan to facilitate the removal of more Chinese companies from the list.
