2025 Sino-German concert showcases rich cultural ties

Since its launch, the "Sing in Taicang" Sino-German Choral Exhibition has drawn 23 choirs from around the world, with over a thousand singers participating over three days and engaging in meaningful exchanges.
Choral art has flourished in recent years in Taicang, producing outstanding groups such as the Taicang Little Skylark Children's Choir, the Taicang Youth Choir, and the Taicang High-Tech Zone Philharmonic Choir.
These groups, supported by professional training, have received numerous awards internationally and domestically, enhancing the city's cultural atmosphere through diverse performances.
Last Friday, the "Crown Voice" Berlin Women's Choir from Germany held a special concert at the Taicang Grand Theatre. Their debut performance in China was hosted in Taicang, offering a world-class choral experience to the audience.
In collaboration with the local Taicang Philharmonic Choir, the Berlin Women's Choir alternated between German and Chinese lyrics and earned enthusiastic applause from the audience.
This collaboration with a world-class choir provided valuable learning opportunities for the local Taicang choir.
