State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company guarantees power supply for new residential communities

On Aug 21, the Yaotang Power Supply Station of Jintan district, State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company, deployed staff to visit Zone 2 of Jintan Vanke Four Seasons Garden, to carry out a comprehensive inspection of power supply equipment ahead of its delivery, with a focus on inspecting various types of low-voltage power supply equipment and laying a solid foundation for the safe and stable electricity consumption of residents.

To ensure reliable power supply for newly-built residential communities, State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company has adopted proactive services and expanded services. During the construction of the communities, the company proactively strengthened inspections of power supply equipment mainly focusing on critical low-voltage power supply components including power distribution rooms, cable lines, unit distribution boxes, public building distribution boxes and emergency lighting. The staff carefully inspected the standardization of equipment wiring, verified whether the equipment parameters met the requirements, and simultaneously recorded information such as the installation location, model, and specifications with precision. During the inspection, the staff found that some metering devices had problems such as loose wiring and unclear labels. They immediately tightened the wiring and required the relevant departments to formulate targeted rectification plans, specifying the rectification time limit and standards to ensure the complete elimination of potential hazards.

The reliable power supply for the delivery and use of newly-built residential communities is closely related to users' experience. Through measures such as early inspection and immediate rectification, Yaotang Power Supply Station has built a solid "protective network" for the stable electricity supply of Four Seasons Garden after its delivery. Since the beginning of this year, State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company has completed comprehensive power supply inspection services for more than 1,600 households in newly-built residential communities within the Yaotang area of Jintan alone, and is expected to complete delivery inspections for nearly 4,000 households in newly-built residential communities before the end of this year. Going forward, State Grid Changzhou Power Supply Company will continue to improve the regular inspection mechanism for low-voltage power supply equipment, ensure the long-term stable operation of equipment through professional operation and maintenance, and create a reliable electricity consumption environment for residents and property owners.
