Students from both sides of Taiwan Strait compete in a friendly dragon boat race

"We exchanged small gifts and are looking forward to visiting Beijing Universal Studios together," he said. "These face-to-face interactions between students from both sides bring us closer in a meaningful way."

The event received support from a volunteer service team comprising Taiwan compatriots based in Beijing. One member, Zhang Ligeng, who took his daughter to enjoy the atmosphere, said the event was a testament to the positive exchanges and connections between young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
