Nanjing introduces country's first coffee-themed modern tram

The country's first coffee-themed modern tram commenced operations in Nanjing's Jianye district on Thursday, offering passengers the unique experience of savoring freshly brewed coffee during their ride.
The tram's seating has been transformed into comfortable cafe seats, complete with added coffee cup holders for convenience. Passengers can leisurely enjoy their coffee while seated by the windows, taking in the view of modern cityscapes and lush greenery along the riverbanks.
Operating between Yuzui Station (9:00 am - 5:00 pm departures) and the east gate of the Olympic Sports Center (10:00 am - 6:00 pm departures), the tram runs every two hours. Passengers have the option to make online reservations through the Meituan app or its WeChat mini-program under the "Coffee Special Tram" section or purchase tickets in person.
The tram is a collaboration between ROCHO Coffee and Nanjing Metro Politan Tram Company with backing from Nanjing's Hexi management committee.
From Thursday until July 15, recent high school graduates can enjoy a 50 percent discount on coffee by presenting their exam admission ticket.
