Bundesliga marks a new chapter in China-Germany soccer collaboration

Since its founding in 1963, the Bundesliga has evolved into a global benchmark for professional soccer. It now boasts the highest number of official club offices in China among European leagues, with five German clubs having established a local presence.
Initiatives such as the "Bundesliga Dream" program — which recently celebrated the Chinese U-16 national team's strong performance — reflect the deepening collaboration in coaching, youth development, and cross-border exchanges.
The visit builds on a series of recent bilateral exchanges. In July 2024, representatives from the Chinese Super League and its clubs visited several Bundesliga organizations to share expertise.
In November, Chinese Football Association President Song Kai led a delegation to the Bundesliga headquarters, officially launching the second season of "Bundesliga Dream". That momentum continued into early 2025, with Bundesliga International executives, including Peer Naubert and Kevin Sim, visiting Beijing to hold strategic talks with CFL leaders.
