Peter Barasa, a student at the Confucius Institute at the University of Nairobi, echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the role such events play in bridging cultures.

"Learning Chinese has enabled me to understand their culture, and I was able to lead a Chinese dancing club called Lion Club," he said.

Barasa added that events like the Chinese Bridge not only celebrate linguistic talent but also foster mutual understanding among young people from both countries.
