This year's competition — held under the theme "One World, One Family" — marked a milestone in inclusivity, drawing the highest number of participants since its inception in Kenya.

Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Guo Haiyan, speaking at the opening ceremony, hailed the event as a testament to the deepening ties between the two nations.

"Through educational exchanges and language learning, we are laying the foundation for the next generation of leaders who will further our bilateral relationships," Guo said. "Today, we are not just awarding the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship — we are supporting dreams, nurturing potential, and building the bridge of understanding between two cultures."
