Manhunt launched after 2 shot dead
A large police operation was underway in Germany on Sunday to find one or more shooters who killed two men the day before in a town north of Frankfurt, police said. The bodies of the two victims, both with gunshot wounds, were found in front of a residential address in Bad Nauheim on Saturday, Giessen city police said.

'Fairness' sought in talks with Washington
Japan will emphasize "fairness" in any talks with the United States on exchange rates, Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba said on Sunday on public broadcaster NHK. "We'll have to deal with this issue from the standpoint of fairness," he said, when asked how Japan would respond if the US asked for cooperation in boosting the yen.
