Greenhouse economy boosts farmers' income in grain-producing Juancheng

Deng Zhaopeng, magistrate of Juancheng, said in January that the county plans to increase its regional GDP by some 6.5 percent and elevate the per capita disposable income of all residents by about 7 percent this year. Last year, the county witnessed its regional GDP hit some 31 billion yuan ($4.36 billion) in 2024, an increase of 6.5 percent year-on-year.

In recent years, Jishan town has been developing its industries according to its unique conditions, guiding local farmers to transform traditional agriculture into characteristic agriculture, vigorously bolstering the "greenhouse economy."
