On Nov 7, the load of State Grid Kuitun Power Supply Company reached 2.83 million kilowatts, hitting a new high again. At present, the power grid is stable and operating reliably.

Since late October, the electric heating load, small industrial load and natural load in the company's business area have increased slightly. Recently, due to the defect elimination and shutdown of Tianfu generating units in the power grid of the Eighth Division, the off-grid load has increased significantly, triggering a new high in the load of Kuitun power grid.

While the load is increasing, the Kuitun power grid is also facing the test of special weather. In the future, the temperature will continue to drop, abnormal weather will be frequent, and the electric heating load will gradually increase. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid during the peak winter period, all departments of the company plan ahead, improve the work system, make overall plans, and arrange the power grid operation mode in due course, and go all out to do all kinds of work for power supply guarantee. They closely monitor the operation of each power supply section, heavily loaded main transformers and lines.

In response to the possible impacts of special weather, all units of the company actively organize and carry out special inspections and protections of key substations and line equipment. They focus on inspecting and monitoring key equipment such as outdoor transformers, capacitors, reactors, voltage transformers, current transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and leads, and timely carry out defect elimination work.
