Brushstrokes showcase Shaanxi characteristics

In the Chang'an (Shaanxi) School of Painting, a major art movement of 20th-century China, one feels the nourishment of Shaanxi province's majestic, expansive landscapes and the rest of Northwest China, as well as a hint of the characteristics of the people there — simple, straightforward and down-to-earth.

The calligraphic works of Lei Zhenmin celebrate the same historical and cultural accumulations of Shaanxi, of which rich artifacts and historical spots attract an influx of tourists year-round.
