On Nov 7, the cable maintenance personnel of the State Grid Pingdingshan Power Supply Company in Henan province conducted infrared temperature measurements and ultrasonic partial discharge detection on the telecom switch station and the live cable equipment below. They also cleared the combustible weeds near the cable channels to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid, making early preparations to meet the upcoming winter peak electricity demand.

Recently, influenced by a new round of cold air, Pingdingshan has experienced a significant drop in temperature. The company has implemented the national requirements for heating and power supply, prioritizing power supply as the most important, prominent and urgent major task.
