Trump's election as US president will introduce significant uncertainty, said Wang Huiyao, founder and president of the Center for China and Globalization.
From a positive perspective, he believes that Trump will definitely need China's help to become a president of peace who can fulfill his promise to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Additionally, Trump is more pragmatic in business and may be more open to Chinese companies investing in the US.
On the negative side, Wang noted that Trump may have a very hawkish team and could implement drastic policies again.
