Slovak prime minister to make official visit to China
At the invitation of Premier Li Qiang, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico will make an official visit to China starting on Thursday.
During Fico's six-day tour, President Xi Jinping will meet with him. Li will hold talks with Fico, and Zhao Leji, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, will meet with him.
China stands ready to use the upcoming visit as an opportunity to deepen the traditional friendship and political mutual trust between the two nations and elevate bilateral relationship to a higher level, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said on Monday.
