Shenzhen to prioritize AI, NEV, healthcare

Shenzhen, a tech hub in South China's Guangdong province, has opened three dedicated offices to prioritize the development of artificial intelligence, new energy vehicles and medicine and medical apparatus. The city government said it will select young, high-caliber talent to staff the three offices, which will run relatively independently of the existing governmental structure.

PBOC starts using outright reverse repos

The People's Bank of China, the country's central bank, said on Monday that it has begun using outright reverse repos, a tool of open market operations, to keep liquidity reasonable and ample in the banking system.
