On-site inspections ensure autumn harvest in Zhejiang

On Friday, staff members of State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company visited Guangming Farm in Yuqian town, Lin'an district in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, to conduct inspections of the power lines around the rice fields. They inspected electrical equipment such as solar insecticidal lamps, smart valves and smart monitoring boxes, eliminating safety hazards and safeguarding the autumn harvest.

During the National Day holiday, a plowing and weaving tour event was held at Guangming Farm, attracting many visitors to experience the rural market. In recent years, relying on the natural scenery of surrounding farms, Yuqian town has tapped into the development potential of agriculture-themed tourism. The region is creating Song Dynasty-themed scenery to enhance the farms’ appeal and increase farmers' income.

In the nearby modernized agricultural service center in Yuqian, after the harvested rice enters the processing stage, the processes of de-husking, drying and packaging can be finished quickly with the help of automated production lines. The equipment has significantly improved rice processing efficiency.
