China Eastern Airlines launches direct flight between Shanghai and Venice

Massimo Ambrosetti, Italian Ambassador to China said the direct flight is believed to further benefit people traveling between China and Italy, as well as promote exchanges of culture, technology and economy.
According to Ambrosetti, the Venice airport is named after an Italian merchant and explorer who introduced China to European centuries ago.
