Nord Stream sabotage: The blame game continues

The Wall Street Journal recently reported that a small Ukrainian team, initially with President Zelensky's approval, was responsible for blowing up the Nord Stream pipelines.
The report claims that the CIA tried to stop the operation, but it went ahead anyway.
However, this account cannot be independently verified. The CIA was believed to be the culprit of the terrorist act.
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh had previously reported that the US was responsible for the explosions. But mainstream Western media quickly geared up to attack his report as a conspiracy theory.
So, why is the WSJ bringing this up now?
