Testing of missile warheads a success
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea successfully conducted on Wednesday the separation and guidance control test of individual mobile warheads, the official Korean Central News Agency reported on Thursday. The DPRK missile administration, which was responsible for Wednesday's test, said the test of related technologies has entered "a full-scale stage", which is of great significance in bolstering the country's missile forces and developing its missile technologies.

2 candidates withdraw from presidential race
Two candidates in Iran's presidential election withdrew from the race as the country prepared on Thursday for the upcoming vote to replace the late President Ebrahim Raisi. Amir-Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi, a former lawmaker and current vice-president, announced his withdrawal in a post on X on Wednesday night. On Thursday, Teheran Mayor Alireza Zakani also withdrew, leaving four other candidates in the race. Voters will go to the polls on Friday.
