Views from Changpu scenic area in SW China

Located in the southwest part of Chongqing, Changpu grassland has an area of about 100 square meters, and is the biggest grassland ever found in this municipality.

The grassland is part of Changpu scenic area, which covers an area of 540 square meters, and integrates agriculture, animal farming and rural tourism. Since it has an altitude of about 1,300-1,500 meters, temperatures in this area are often lower than in the main city of Chongqing by 7 to 8 degrees.

In recent years, the local government has stepped up its efforts to improve the rural environment, combine rural revitalization and poverty alleviation results, and boost agricultural features to build this scenic area. They expect to help boost local development and increase people's income through the tourism industry, according to local officials.
