Jilin province's efforts to attract top talents are paying off as researchers like Liu Wei return to contribute to scientific advancements.

Liu, a researcher at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, expressed gratitude for the province's supportive environment and talent policies, which allow him to focus on research without concerns.

He highlighted the warmth and support provided by Jilin's talent policies, which not only facilitate research innovation, professional recognition, and benefits for talents, but they also offer comprehensive support for their families, including education, employment, healthcare, and travel arrangements. The province's talent policies have evolved significantly since 2018, upgrading from the "18 Talent Policies" to version 3.0, showcasing a commitment to nurturing talent and fostering innovation.

The province's emphasis on talent attraction and cultivation is evident through initiatives like the "Jilin Talents Returning Home" forums, in which Liu participated. He felt the province's deep respect and support for talent development and entrepreneurship. He emphasized Jilin's strategic advantage in renewable energy, particularly in utilizing wind and solar power for zero-carbon emission solutions like hydrogen and ammonia production. Liu's research team focuses on rare earth energy materials, aligning Jilin's resource advantages with national strategies, accelerating research cycles, reducing costs, and promoting rapid advancements in the province's new energy industry.
