First smart zone for EV charging, battery-swap

The construction of China's first smart electric vehicle charging and battery-swapping demonstration zone has been completed in the eastern province of Jiangsu, and will shorten the wait time needed for EV charging. The zone covers nearly 500 square kilometers in the cities of Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou.

PBOC adds liquidity via reverse repos

China's central bank conducted 10 billion yuan ($1.41 billion) of seven-day reverse repos at an interest rate of 1.8 percent on Thursday. The move aims to keep liquidity in the banking system reasonable and ample, the People's Bank of China said in a statement.
