In recent years, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power has been promoting the construction of rural charging infrastructure with the aim to create an intelligent, convenient and safe charging infrastructure network.

On Tuesday, at a charging station in Houchen village, Wuyi county in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, staff members were carefully inspecting and maintaining the newly installed charging equipment. After that, they explained how to use the equipment and shared information on the safe use of electricity to vehicle owners who came to use the facilities.

In accordance with the goal of the Cuncuntong Project, the local power supply administration coordinated with relevant government departments. They planned land for the construction of charging stations. Taking Wuyi county as an example, 42 charging stations with 281 charging power lines have been built so far, covering 11 towns and streets, greatly meeting the needs of local and self-driving tourism vehicles.

In the future, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power said it will continuously optimize the charging facilities in accordance with the development trends of the new energy vehicle market. Moreover, it will continue to strengthen cooperation with governments, property rights units and other parties to jointly promote the development of new energy vehicle charging infrastructure construction and provide better services for green travel and low-carbon development.
