Zoucheng city located in the southwest of Shandong province is known for its abundant underground water resources. Building on such foundation, the local government has been exploring new ways of fishery.

With the aim to increase production capacity and upgrade industrial layout, they have emphasized on the technology-driven aquaculture and boosted green development. The local factories' land-based closed-loop aquaculture area has reached 47,000 square meters, with a total of 45,000 cubic meters of aquaculture water and an annual output of up to 2,000 metric tons.

Kunmao Aquaculture Base, known as one of the largest freshwater perch aquaculture bases in the north of the Yangtze River, has been making effort to reduce pollution and waste throughout the production process, so as to realize high-density aquaculture and water resource conservation.

State Grid Jining Power Supply Company has been exploring new models of service for factory-style aquaculture. It upgraded the power grid and improved the reliability of the power grid operation in a bid to provide full-capacity electricity for factory-style aquaculture.

The company established three Party member service teams to perform door-to-door investigations to learn about the demands of electricity users, especially the factory owners, so as to provide customized services.

The company said it will continue to optimize the business mechanism and improve electricity utilization rate and work efficiency, providing considerate services to ensure the industrial growth.
