Hangzhou ready to host smart, safe Asian Games

・ Hangzhou is the third city in China to host the Asian Games, following Beijing in 1990 and Guangzhou in 2010. The 2026 event will be held in Japan.
・ With 12,417 registered athletes, the Hangzhou Asian Games feature more participants than the Olympics. About 11,000 athletes competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and about 10,500 are set to participate at the Paris Games in 2024.
