US companies in China welcome the recent decision by US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao to establish communication channels for constructive dialogue, according to Colm Rafferty, chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in China.
This move aims to guide both routine commerce and sensitive export control concerns, thereby laying the groundwork for mitigating potential conflicts and generating constructive resolutions, Rafferty said in a statement.
The US business community in China stands ready to engage with the Chinese and US governments, he added.
