The emergency management department of Hebei province is guiding social emergency response forces to carry out rescue operations in floodwaters in Zhuozhou city.

The provincial department has activated the on-site coordination mechanism and around 100 civilian rescue teams, including the Blue Sky rescue teams and the Ram Union rescue teams, have arrived in Zhuozhou and other affected areas to help in the rescue work, according to Hebei Daily on Wednesday.

Local governments and provincial, city, and county emergency management personnel are guiding the social emergency forces in an organized manner, strengthening organizational coordination in tasks such as issuing and executing rescue missions, and ensuring the supply of rescue materials. They are actively relocating stranded residents, increasing rescue efficiency.
