Logistics activity picks up pace in June
China's logistics sector expanded at a faster pace in June as market demand and business operations improved, industry data showed on Monday. The index tracking the country's logistics market performance stood at 51.7 percent last month, up 0.2 percentage point from May, according to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while a reading below reflects contraction. Most subindexes edged up in June.
300 supercharging stations in pipeline
South China's Shenzhen, Guangdong province, has announced plans to construct 300 new supercharging stations over the next three years in a bid to further facilitate charging for new energy vehicles. The announcement was made at International Digital Energy Expo 2023, where the city also debuted its first fully liquid-cooled supercharging demonstration station. The proposed construction project is part of a broader initiative to establish Shenzhen as the "City of Supercharging" by 2030.
