Clear winner unlikely as votes are cast
Greece went to the polls on Sunday in a general election unlikely to produce a clear winner, with a second vote expected by July if the country's fractious political parties fail to agree to a coalition. An exit poll by six polling agencies was expected to be released early on Monday. The two main contenders in Sunday's vote were Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, 55, and 48-year-old Alexis Tsipras, who heads the Syriza party and served as prime minister during Greece's most turbulent years.
